At Emmitt Jones Specialty Coffee & Roastery, the roasting process is more than just roasting coffee beans-it’s an alchemy that transforms raw beans into flavorful works of art. Every step is done with care, passion, and respect for the finest beans from handpicked farmers.

  1.  Green Bean Selection

    We only work with specialty grade beans, picked at optimal altitudes, and processed ethically. Each bean is manually inspected to ensure consistency and the highest quality.
  2. Roasting with Precision & Passion
    With state-of-the-art roasters and precision temperature control, our Master Roasters process coffee beans through specially designed roasting profiles to bring out the unique character of each coffee origin. From floral and fruity light roasts to bold and chocolatey dark roasts, each roasting level is a different flavor story.
  3. Listening & Intuition (The Art of
    Listening)
    Coffee beans “speak” through the first and second crack-we listen. Our roasters combine data science and experienced instinct to determine the best moment to stop the process, ensuring the perfect balance of flavors.
  4. Quality Control & Resting Period
    After roasting, the coffee beans are rested to allow them to develop naturally. We conduct rigorous cupping tests to ensure each batch meets Emmitt Jones’ standards: complex, smooth, and memorable.
