Brewing Guide for Each Method
- Pour Over (V60 / Chemex) – Clarity & Delicate Nuances of Flavor
- Grind Size: Medium-fine (like granulated sugar)
- Water Temp: 92°C – 96°C
- Ratio: 1:16 (e.g. 15g coffee: 240ml water)
- Technique:
- Bloom (30 seconds) to release
COz and ensure even extraction. - Pour water slowly in a circular motion, enjoying the aroma.
- Result: Coffee with high clarity, floral, fruity flavors, and a clean finish.
- French Press – Bold, Rich, & Full-Bodied
- Grind Size: Coarse (like sea salt)
- Water Temp: 90°C – 93°C
- Ratio: 1:15 (e.g. 20g coffee: 300ml water)
- Technique:
- Stir after pouring water, leave 4 minutes undisturbed.
- Press the plunger slowly, pour immediately to avoid over-extraction.
- Result: Deep body and warm aftertaste.
- Aeropress – Flexible, Fast & Experimental
- Grind Size: Fine to medium (according to preference)
- Water Temp: 85°C – 90°C for sweeter flavor; 93°C – 96°C for stronger extraction.
- Ratio: 1:12 – 1:15 (e.g. 15g coffee : 180ml water)
- Technique:
- Inverted method for better control.
- Brew 1-2 minutes, pressing lightly.
- Result: Clean, intense, or creamy-depends on your creation!
- Espresso – The Basis of All Coffee Drinks
- Grind Size: Extra fine (like fine flour)
- Water Temp: 90°C – 94°C
- Ratio: 1:2 (e.g. 18g coffee: 36g espresso in 25-30 seconds)
- Technique:
- Tamp evenly for consistent extraction.
- Extraction time 25-30 seconds for perfect balance.
- Result: Thick cream, complex flavors, ready to be enjoyed straight or as a latte base.
Our Secret Tip:
- Use filtered water
for the best flavor. - Fresh grind = fresh taste! Grind the beans right before brewing.
